Varytex has previously used Expo Protection to meet PPE and workwear buyers, present new product directions and begin product discussions that continue after the show.
What Varytex Will Be Showing at Expo Protection 2026
This year, Varytex plans to present functional apparel across several PPE and workwear directions, including high-visibility garments, flame garments, heating garments and cooling garments.
Heating and cooling garments will be among the product directions Varytex is particularly interested in introducing to visitors in 2026. The exhibition gives buyers an opportunity to see the products and discuss their own requirements directly with the Varytex team.
The garments shown at the stand are Varytex’s own exhibition styles rather than customer designs. They are based on related product series that have previously entered bulk production. This allows Varytex to show relevant product experience without displaying customer-specific designs.
What Can Buyers Discuss with Varytex at the Stand?
Different buyers arrive at an exhibition at different stages of product development.
Some may be exploring a new PPE or workwear product. Others may already have a design, material direction or functional requirement and want to understand how it could be developed for production.
Depending on the project, discussions with Varytex can cover product and functional requirements, material options, improvements to an existing product, OEM or ODM development, sample development, testing and standards considerations, and production feasibility.
These are not fixed steps. The discussion depends on the buyer’s product, requirements and current stage of development.
How an Exhibition Conversation Can Continue into Product Development
At a previous Expo Protection, a PPE brand showed interest in Varytex’s softshell products.
The discussion went beyond choosing a single existing jacket. Varytex and the buyer discussed softshell options using different fabrics, weights, styles and weaves. After the exhibition, the buyer selected several softshell jackets suited to different seasons for its following year’s product promotion.
The project subsequently moved into bulk production.
Why Varytex Continues to Attend Expo Protection
Varytex participated in Expo Protection in 2020, 2022 and 2024 and will return for the 2026 edition.
From Varytex’s experience, the continuing value of the exhibition is straightforward: it provides an opportunity to meet existing customers and develop new customer relationships in the PPE and workwear market.
